A Keleti Ifi Klub, avagy a Z generációs foglalkoztatottak körében végzett elégedettségmérés eredményei
Abstract :
The study is based on an event organised on 13 June 2023 by the Eastern Budapest Tax and Customs Directorate of the National Tax and Customs Administration (hereinafter: Directorate), inviting employees under the age of 30, mostly belonging to Generation Z. The author summarises the findings of the questionnaire and focus group interviews conducted there. It shows what makes the members of this generation different from the previous generations and what their work preferences are. Previous research findings on Generation Z have been confirmed by the experience of the Directorate: Young people belonging to Generation Z value flexibility, financial security and the opportunity for advancement and success. Young colleagues also positively evaluated the mentoring programme practices of the Directorate, the integration into the community and the stability they felt in the workplace. They made numerous suggestions for organisational development and staff retention. Even though some of the suggestions are beyond the scope of the Directorate, the arguments and future-oriented ideas presented in this study can be instructive for anyone who wants to learn about the mindset and values of Generation Z youth. ,
