Lehet, hogy konzervatív értékrendű Budapest?
Absztrakt :
Ugyanakkor a kollektív szerveződés értékei (civil participáció, politika, vallás) rendre alacsony támogatottsággal bírnak. A teljes érték-spektrumból a polgáriként azonosított értékekkel elsősorban a pesti, közepes vagy alacsonyabb státuszú, kétgyermekesek, illetőleg az idősebbek azonosulnak. A kapott eredmények szerint Budapest a felfelé törekvők városa.
The work summarizes the primary results of four comprehensive value surveys among the residents of Budapest which were completed between 2021 and 2023. The research was conducted by E-Benchmark by polling 1000 respondents on each occasion. The result of the research is that even though elements of the value chain do change in accordance with the change of circumstantial factors, they tend to change at a remarkably slower pace than the climate of political preferences. The fundamental values of the respondents are health, family and security added on with calmness. It appears that during the pandemic, the inhabit- ants of Budapest were willing to sacri?ce the calmness or general orderliness of their lives in exchange for citizens’duties. On the other hand, the values of collective organization (civic participation, politics, religion) tended to receive weak support. However counterintuitive it may sound, with respect to the entire value-spectrum, those who identify as characteristically civic-oriented are likely to be residents of Pest, having middle or lower social and economic status, raising two children, or citizens older than 70. The results show that Budapest is the city of those who strive upwards.
