A visegrádi négyek, Ausztria és Románia gazdaságtudományi publikációs teljesítményének összehasonlító elemzése
Absztrakt :
A tanulmány hat ország (Ausztria, Csehor[1]szág, Lengyelország, Magyarország, Románia és Szlovákia) gazdaságtudományi kutatóinak Scopus-adatbázisban megtalálható publiká[1]ciós teljesítményét és az általuk kiváltott számszerűsített hatásokat (például hivatko[1]zásokat) elemzi. Empirikus kutatásunk eredményeként megállapítható, hogy a hat ország gazdaságtudományi kutatói világos publikációs stratégiával rendelkeznek, a pub[1]likációk számának növelésére koncentrálnak, miközben intenzíven törekszenek arra, hogy tudományos eredményeiket társszerzős köz[1]leményekként is közreadják. A hivatkozások számát a közlemények számával és a társ[1]szerzőszám növelésével bővítik, amely a Hirsch-indexüket is kedvezően befolyásolja. A publikációs teljesítmény alapján a visegrádi négyek, valamint Ausztria és Románia veze[1]tő gazdaságtudományi kutatói nem sorolha[1]tóak tipikus csoportokba, az eredmények szóródását vizsgálva ugyanis viszonylag ho[1]mogén közösséget alkotnak. A kutatói rang[1]sorok élmezőnyében az osztrák, a lengyel és a cseh gazdaságtudományi kutatók találha[1]tók, míg a magyarok stabilan a második vo[1]nalban vannak, addig a szlovákok és a romá[1]nok leszakadva követik őket.
The paper analyses the publication perfor[1]mance and the received scientific impact (for instance, citations) of the Business and Eco[1]nomics researchers in six Central European countries, including Austria, the Czech Re[1]public, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Ro[1]mania. The analysis is based on the Scopus citation database. Empirical findings de[1]monstrate that Business and Economics re[1]searchers in these countries follow a well[1]established publication strategy, focusing on increasing the number of publications. Si[1]multaneously, they tend to publish with co[1]authors to strengthen further the number of publications. Concerning the number of citations, it is raised by the increasing number of publications and by a wide co[1]author network, which also affects their Hirsch index favourably. Regarding their publication performance, the leading Busi[1]ness and Economics researchers in the Vi[1]segrad Group of counties, Austria and Ro[1]mania belong to no typical cluster, as the scatter plot shows a relatively homogenous community of these researchers. Our find[1]ings demonstrate that in the ranking of rese[1]archers, Austria, Poland and the Czech Re[1]public dominate, Hungary is in a secondary line, while Slovakia and Romania are lagging behind.
