Traditional and online services of the university library : use of databases and publication support tools for doctoral students
Absztrakt :
In this researcher support training, doctoral students learn about the foreign language book collection of the library, as well as the full-text and reference databases available at the university. They will learn how to use them to map their research area, and to access the literature and information sources available for their research (search methods, filters, search alerts, etc.).
Furthermore, the steps of the publication process, the tools that can be used during them, useful tips for finding the right journal are presented (avoiding predatory journals, journal suggester services, reference management software, review process, publication sharing services, etc.). Participants learn about the benefits of open access publishing, publishing within the framework of our university’s open access agreements, and author’s self-archiving in the institutional repository.
