Katonai erények a szocialista Magyarországon
Absztrakt :
Magyarország mindig két kultúra határán elterülő államalakulat volt a történelemben. Nyugatról a római keresztény, majd az európai felvilágosodás kultúráját elfogadó államok határolták, keletről pedig a bizánci keresztény, a keresztény eretnek, a muszlim, a szláv majd a szocialista országok. A Nyugat és a Kelet határán lévő ország hadseregének katonai etikáját mindkét oldalról érték hatások: a legtöbb esetben nyugatról érkeztek, ám kivételes időszakokban a keleti kultúrák is képesek voltak hatást gyakorolni a magyar katonai gondolkodásra. Az egyik ilyen kivételt képező időszak a 20. század második fele volt, amikor a szocialista Szovjetunió katonai etikája befolyásolta a magyar katonai erényeket. Ez a cikk a szovjet hatásra Magyarországon fontosnak tartott katonai erényekkel foglalkozik.
Historical Hungary was a country situated on the border of two cultures. It was bordered on the west by the Roman Christian and then enlightened states, and on the east by Byzantine Christian, Christian heretic, Muslim, Slavic, and then socialist countries. Situated between the West and the East, Hungarian military ethics was affected by both cultures. These impacts, however, came from the West in many cases, and rarely from the East. One of the exceptions was the Hungarian socialist time period after the World War II, when the military ethics of the socialist Soviet Union influenced Hungarian military virtues. This article deals with the military virtues that were considered important in Hungary under Soviet influence.
