A talajvizsgálatok szerepe és alkalmazási lehetőségei a katonai műveleti területen

Abstract

Mind a katasztrófavédelmi, mind a katonai műveletek sikerességét és környezeti kárait jelentősen befolyásolja a talaj mint a műveleti hatások következtében kárt szenvedő természeti elem. A környezeti változások egyre inkább ráterelik a figyelmet a környezettudatos tevékenységekre és a környezeti károk minimalizálásának szükségességére. A talaj állapota, nagymértékben kihat a katonai műveletek sikerére, s megfordítva: ezek során jelentős talajkárok is keletkezhetnek. A talaj jellemző adatainak felmérése ezért kiemelt fontosságú. A polgári célú talajvizsgálatok az elmúlt időszakban jelentős fejlődésen mentek keresztül, ami jó alapja lehet – a megfelelő változtatásokkal – a katonai területre való kiterjesztésnek.

The success and environmental damage of both disaster management and military operations are significantly influenced by the soil as a natural element damaged by the effects of the operations. The effects of operations, as a result of continuous military technology, operational research, development and innovation are transforming drastically and with multiple consequences. Environmental change is increasingly focusing attention on environmentally conscious activities and the need to minimise environmental damage. Nor can a defence operation be an exception to the fulfilment of these basic social needs. The condition of the soil has a great influence on the success of the operations, while the operations can cause significant soil damage, so the scientific study of the topic is of great importance in these two areas. The assessment of soil-specific data is therefore of paramount importance. Civil soil surveys have shown significant progress in recent times. The correlations between Hungarian soil types and military operations, the steps and requirements of soil testing, with appropriate changes, provide a good opportunity to apply proven civilian methods in the military field.
