Határrendészeti kutatás-fejlesztés – a SMILE-projekt eredményei

Abstract

A tanulmány a 2017–2020 között végrehajtott SMILE-projekt eredménye­it veszi górcső alá Magyarország Rendőrségének konzorciumi részvétele aspektusából. A határrendészeti kutató-fejlesztő kezdeményezés a száraz­földi határforgalom-ellenőrzéshez szükséges erők, eszközök és költségek csökkentését vette alapul, új infokommunikációs technológiák alkalmazásá­val. A részvétel számos, elsősorban határrendészeti szakmai tapasztalatot és új ismeretek elsajátítását indukálta a rendőrség részére, az elért eredmé­nyek szinergiában állnak a 2022. évben működésüket megkezdő új, európai uniós nagy méretű információs rendszerek koncepciójával.

The study examines the results of the “SMILE” project implemented between 2017–2020 from the perspective of the consortium participation of the Hungarian National Police. The border policing research and development initiative was based on reducing the forces, equipment and costs required for land border checks by applying new infocommunication technologies. The participation has led to the acquisition of a wide range of professional experience and new knowledge, mainly in border management for the Hungarian Police, and the results achieved are synergistic with the concept of the new EU large-scale information systems that will be operational from 2022.
