Abstract

A magyar huszár az a magyar könnyűlovas, aki az elmúlt fél évezred során szinte átformálta a hadviselés arculatát, és fénykorában a világ 34 országa adaptálta ezt a könnyűlovassági csapatnemet. Ezek közül számos huszáralakulat mind a mai napig az adott ország haderejének fontos elemét képezi. Az előzőleg már tárgyalt dán és francia huszárezredek folytatásaként alábbiakban Hollandia, Kanada és az Egyesült Királyság huszárezredeit mutatom be.

Sharing best practices, Hungarian Hussars trained and helped to create Hussar Corps in 34 countries of the world. Although over time and with technological progress the war-fighting era of the Hussar troops fighting on horseback has all passed in the twentieth century, but not the hussars themselves. Continuing the previous article that was about Hussar units of Denmark and France, in this article my main goal is to introduce the organisation and mission of the Hussar units of Dutch, Canadian and British Armed Forces.
