Abstract dc.description.abstract | A kozmikus gamma-kitörések műholdakról történő megfigyelése az 1960-as évek óta folyik, bár eredetileg a tiltott felszíni atomrobbantásokkal járó gamma-sugárzás detektálása volt a cél. Emellett a normál műholdakhoz képest olcsóbb feljuttatásuk lehetőséget ad gyakoribb cseréjükre a fedélzeti mérőműszerek gyors fejlődése függvényében. Alkalmasak továbbá az űridőjárás valós idejű monitorozására, amely mind a katonai, mind a polgári műholdak védelmét szolgálhatja a Föld sugárzási zónái váratlan változásainak megfigyelésével. The observation of cosmic gamma-ray bursts from satellites are continuous since the 1960s, though these satellites were originally designed to detect the gamma rays emitted by nuclear bomb tests. The discovery that these events with extreme energy emission occur far from our planet was a “side effect” of this goal. However, gamma-ray flashes from the direction of the Earth were also detected, the nature of which were not resembling the ones from atomic bomb tests. Nanosatellites, compared to normal satellites are cheaper to launch to their orbits and this gives an opportunity to their more frequent replacement as the sensitivity of the measuring devices aboard increases. They are suitable for real-time monitoring of space weather as the detection of the rapid variations in the radiation belts of the Earth has a major impact on the safety of other military and civil satellites. | hu_HU |
