A harcművészeti kultúra kibontakozása az edo-kori Japánban II.
Absztrakt :
A cikk bemutatja, hogy a Japán történelem során hogyan született meg a társadalom egy kiemelt szerepet betöltő rétege, a harcos (bushi) osztály. Történelmi előzmények segítségével ismerteti a harcosok felemelkedésének okait, szerepük megerősödését és a körülményeket, amelyek segítségével a közép- és edo-kori Japán vezető társadalmi csoportjává váltak. Az írás részletezi a harcosok életfelfogását, és annak a harcművészeti kultúrának a kibontakozását, amelyet ma a világ úgy ismer, mint budó-kultúra.
The paper describes how the bushi or warrior class, the prominent stratum of the Japanese society has
been developed in the history of Japan. By means of historical premises, the essay discusses the
reasons behind the rise of the warrior class, the consolidation of their social role, and the circumstances
that made them the head of the Japanese society in the middle Ages and in the Edo era.
The paper details the warriors’ attitude to life and the development of the culture of martial arts that is
known worldwide nowadays as the culture of budō.
