Migrációs egészségügyi kihívások a schengeni határnyitás után
Absztrakt :
The enlarged European Union faces increased and more complex migration flows. The registered 39 million migrants represent approximately 8% of the total population of the European Union (EU), while the number of irregular migrants 1 in the EU is difficult to estimate. At present, the EU does not have a harmonized migration health policy, and the current protocols of border management along the EU external borders do not address
the human public health aspects (nor do the Schengen criteria). In general, governments will need to give more attention to the health impacts of migration. Moreover, the health implications of irregular migration are even more complex and bring serious health concerns into play. The number of trafficked women in the EU alone is estimated at 500000, two-thirds of which have entered through the new eastern external borders of EU .
